With Tyler, Fritz, and another guy. Very, very hot, but a light enough workout that it was manageable. Last tune-up before team champs this weekend. Goal was 5M race pace for the 1600, which I lead - pleased with how well I paced it. Felt good but not great on the 400s.

AM: 0 miles (47 min) (7:46/pace) Off Woken up at 5:00 by pager duty and had trouble falling back asleep after. Wound up sleeping until 10:00 at which point it was already really hot and I was feeling like I could use a day off.

Saturday July 23rd, 2016: 11 miles
AM: 11 miles (83 min) (7:32/pace) Central Park Hot day but got out before it was really unbearable. Met Ryan, Jordy, and Herb at the fountain. Ryan and I dropped Herb the last few miles - they were taking it really easy. Felt pretty good overall.

PM: 7.75 miles Bridle Path Ran after the AppNexus field day, so I was not in the best shape but wanted to get some miles in. Planned to run this morning but spent the morning attending to pager stuff. Ran into the guys doing the workout on their recovery between the two sets of two-miles and considered joining them even though I knew it would probably be disastrous, but then saw Corey and Jordy, who were just running easy, and went with them instead.
